WITH A SCREAM AND A WHISTLE…

OUR GIN

Has been developed by two blokes with a garage, lab grade equipment, artificial intelligence and napkin math.

With our own unique and efficient method of distillation, the breaking down of our botanical matter has become many times more efficient and less wasteful than traditional methods.

Our botanical mass bathes in a bath of sound (the bird bath) engulfed by low frequency wave lengths which sound like a high pitched whistle.

Maceration occurs when these sound waves uniformly break down our formula through vibration which ultimately saturates our blend with a Scream and a Whistle!

Along with our trademark distillation process this allows for a very fast, controlled, and efficient maceration and distillation.

GOOD VIBES ONLY.

OUR RECIPE

LETS BE HONEST, we aren’t going to tell you exactly how we make this…

What we can tell you is that :

Our water is sourced from Wellingtons own Te Puna Wai Ora - the spring of life : a direct tap into a pure untreated artesian water source free from micro-organisms and organic substances. It has been naturally filtered over several years in its journey within the aquifer leading to a pure and delicious drop of H20.

Our Recipe combines a range of traditional ingredients with the likes of exotic fruits, herbs and spices that we have fine tuned down to the milligram over many iterations. Our specific combination of ingredients transforms into what we like to think resembles the taste, smell and feel of a WILDFLOWER.

A sweet citrus-forward symphony of 18 botanicals make up every sip.

Amidst the aroma, Persian black lime, elderflower, lemon myrtle and grapefruit reside among many others.

Savour the flavour and embrace the strange…

OUR BOTTLE + LABEL

Are a nod to our distillation process. Innovative, abstract yet the approach is pragmatic.

The repetition and zig zagging of the outer fins on our bottle convey the frequency wave lengths at which the botanical formula is macerated.

The labels artwork is loosely based on the Bauhaus movement of the early 1900s, acting as a caveat - merging the artistic mediums and ideas used in the design of this product into one unified message.

By combining our artistry with the capabilities of mass production and function, the vessel has taken its final form - the home of the WHISTLEBIRD.

THE BIRDHOUSE.
